The Full Moon Fortunes slot game isn't quite your typical Playtech game. If you are used to their blockbuster
games like Gladiator or the Marvel series including Fantastic 4
then it would be quite easy to pass Full Moon Fortunes by. It's actually by Ash Gaming who are a small London-based company
that Playtech bought, presumably because of the success of their cult games Alice's Wonderland and the Endemol-licenced
X-Factor Jackpot slot.
I'll be honest here and say those two games aren't really my thing - a bit too low variance for me - but the Full Moon Fortunes slot
grabbed me from the moment I played it. That was probably helped by the fact that it has some good bonus multipliers rather like
other Playtech slots I love: Great Blue springs to mind! I've always liked games that have
big multipliers and potential for huge wins: my all-time land favorite was Cleopatra 2 by IGT but
recently there haven't been many so the x25 multiplier in Full Moon Fortunes appealed a lot!
The other good thing about Full Moon Fortunes, that a lot of the Vegas-flavored slots lack, is a good balance
between winning decent amounts in the base game and the feature. This is helped by the inclusion of a Wild symbol that can
multiply wins by x5 and a scatter on Reel 5 (which is more than a little reminiscent of the imagery behind
IGT's Wolf Run as it happens!) that turns the Dr. Blackwood symbols wild.
I'll leave you to explore the game in more detail using the freeplay version I have added to OCV, above. Don't give up on it too
soon if you hit a bad streak as I have a suspicion that the Full Moon Fortunes slot will end up rivaling games like
Davinci Diamonds, WMS Gaming's Zeus slot or even
Aristocrat's mega-popular (but very temperamental!) Pompeii as the most popular games on the site
once players have got familiar with it.
