IGT's batch of Monopoly slots have been withdrawn and the licence for producing online versions has
switched to WMS (Williams Interactive). The first of these games will be Monopoly Big Event
which I hope to have on this page shortly. Stay tuned for more information in the next few days!
Original IGT Monopoly Slots Review (Archived)
The Monopoly slots probably needs no introduction as they are almost as common a fixture as the myriad
of Wheel of Fortune slots in land-baed casinos now.
IGT originally licenced the Monopoly brand name for a series of land-based slots
and somewhat inevitably created several online Monopoly slots including the one
you can play above, Monopoly Plus.
After the initial "Monopoly Pass Go" game they released "Mega Jackpots Monopoly" slot but
having a Jackpot, it does not have a free-play mode so I can't add it to Online Casinos Vegas.
Since then, however, IGT have also released Monopoly Multiplier, Monopoly Here & Now and
Monopoly On A Roll - more Monopoly slots than we probably need to be honest LOL.
This newer version is arguably the best of the bunch but to be honest, in my opinion, none of them are that
great when you look at the slot games today's developers are coming up with.
The free Monopoly slots are available at most online casinos where you
find IGT games like Davinci Diamonds along with a handful of other
casinos that licence in Wagerworks games as part of their "Instant Games" suite. Most players can sign up to any of the casinos listed above as a guest
and play Monopoly free along with the Cluedo slot and
several other games. Note that Monopoly isn't really classed with the IGT slots
as it was developed by Wagerworks which was the online arm of IGT before they rebranded solely as IGT.
Also worth noting is that casinos with the Monopoly games generally also have other IGT
games like the Cleopatra slot and the ever popular
Wolf Run slot. More recent games like Siberian Storm
and one of my personal favorites, Star Trek (not to be confused with WMS Gaming's
lacklustre versions - IGT's is based on the recent movies, not the TV series and IMO is way better) are also
now on the scene and IGT's online presence is pretty strong now.
For what it's worth, the version you see here has an expected return of 96.01% which is
pretty decent. This is the best return on any of the of the Monopoly slot games mentioned above
(as I write) with the others coming in around the 95% mark on average.
